Patricia Conner Designs is a client driven interior design and construction company. Our goal is to work with clients to help them find and express their personal sense of style. Every client and project is special. We, therefore, strive for a solid understanding of the client’s vision and needs prior to commencing with a project. Whether you choose to change your furnishings, renovate one room, your entire home, or build new, our goal is to use our expertise to guide you and create your dream space. Our vision is grounded in years of practical experience in dealing with the function and design of spaces, finishing materials and products.

Regarding finishes, it is never too early to start working with your designer when planning a renovation or new build. There are many exterior and interior materials and finishes to be selected and time pressure is neither pleasant nor is it efficient. We work systematically and build on basic design principles to create a space that the client loves and that balances both form and function.

PCD works with preferred suppliers in Calgary and internationally to transform spaces with custom millwork, flooring, tile, plumbing and light fixtures, wallpaper, and paint.

Post Renovation, cohesive design is about staging after a renovation or build. Layering of furniture, accessories and art completes the space. PCD specializes in selection and placement of furniture, carpets, lamps, accessories and art to create balance and harmony. A balanced space is pleasing to the senses and creates a feeling of harmony and well-being.

GENERAL CONTRACTING:

Patricia Conner Designs is a licensed, bonded and insured general contractor with twenty-one years of experience in design and renovation. Although renovation is never seamless, we collaborate with sub-trades, cabinet makers, and craftsmen that have worked in their fields for twenty plus years, many attaining the status of “Master.” We value these trade partnerships, their knowledge and the input these master craftsmen bring to develop each project culminating in a high standard of finishing.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

When utilizing our full service design and construction services, the PCD team offers practical experience and organizational skills in project management of all jobs large or small. We also work with the best new-home builders and know their dedication to a quality product. With an eye to cohesion, PCD bridges the client and the builder offering sound advice based on years of experience, project management and design services to those building a new home.

BESPOKE FURNITURE, LIGHTING AND SOFT GOODS:

PCD designs and creates bespoke items that encompass the vision and the look-feel of the home to complete our clients dream space. If you can dream it, we can design and create it. We partner with many cabinet-makers, furniture makers, craftsmen, sculptors, carvers, artists and soft good manufactures.
